In the words of the composer: “The music was intended to evoke the timeless eternal above….on a winter’s twilight….A poem I interpret to be about the mystical origins of music, its unbelievable mysterious powers, and almost living, breathing capacity to create ‘all wonders,’ even all that exists [is] the second poem from Rainer Maria Rilke’s Sonnets to Orpheus.”
